High hardenability, no temper brittleness, weldability is quite good, the tendency to form cold crack is very small, machinability and cold strain plasticity is good.
Generally used in quenching and tempering or carburizing state, used for manufacturing in non-corrosive media and working temperature below 250℃, containing the mixture of nitrogen and hydrogen in the medium working high-pressure pipes and various fasteners, more advanced carburizing parts, such as gear, shaft, etc.

20CrMo material belongs to low carbon alloy structural steel, which is suitable for carburizing and quenching treatment.
Heat treatment specification: quenching 880℃, water cooling, oil cooling;
Temper 500℃, water cooling, oil cooling.
Low 20 crmo hardness
The hardness of 20CrMo is HRC32-33 after quenching (860-880℃ water or oil cooling) and tempering at low temperature (150-200 ℃)
